Linn County Physical Therapy began in 1993. Since
then we have grown to meet the needs of our patients and referring
practitioners. Patients come to us from their family physician,
specialist, chiropractor, podiatrist, dentist, occupational case
managers as well as self-referred.
Physical Therapy treatment is directed at
controlling symptoms, restoring function, and self-management
education.
We focus on:
- Evaluation of your symptoms and how they affect your function
- Education regarding your condition and treatment plan
- Exercises and functional activities to improve strength,
endurance, and activity tolerance
- Manual Therapy to regain soft tissue and joint mobility
When Physical Therapy is
recommended, exercise your choice of...
- Clinic - Independent, physician,
corporation, or hospital-owned. Using clinics owned by
those treating you can be to your advantage.
- Therapist - Each therapist
has areas of interest, expertise, or certification.
Not all of us treat all problems equally as well.
- Treatment - Be certain the treatment
plan and goals meet your needs. Each therapist may
have a different approach to the same condition.
- Treatment Frequency - With high deductibles
and co-pays, more treatment isn't always better. Discuss costs
and treatment expections.
